Sugar Land Ice and Sports Center

Noisemaker Communications arranged a press event to show off Sugar Land Ice and Sports Center’s Olympic connection. 2006 Olympic Ladies Figure Skating team first alternate, Katy Taylor addressed the media on her home ice at Sugar Land Ice and Sports Center. Past Olympians Kitty Carruthers-Conrad, Mark Janoschak and Katy Taylor along with B.L. Wylie gave the inside story on the Winter Olympics.

Greater Greenspoint Management District

In an effort to create a new, positive image for the Greenspoint area as the host of the NFC Champions for Super Bowl XXXVIII, Noisemaker Communications produced several media events to “roll out the Green Carpet.”

• Greenspoint sponsored Radio Super Bowl Trivia – Legendary sportscaster Barry Warner voiced the weekly “Countdown to Super Week” vignettes, with sports trivia and news tidbits on local radio stations for three months preceding the Super Bowl.

• Super Bowl XXXVIII Kick-off Event with Marcus Allen – A Media Press Conference featuring Marcus Allen, CBS Super Bowl Broadcaster and recent NFL Hall of Fame Inductee.

• Student Press Conference – Student journalists from middle schools, high schools and colleges throughout the Houston area were invited to the Wyndham Greenspoint Hotel to attend a full scale press conference and interview Marcus Allen. Student journalists who attended were encouraged to write articles for their school publications, which were then submitted for a cash award of $500 for the best written article.

• Green Carpet Courtesies – Noisemaker Communications produced “Green Carpet Courtesies” brochures where local Greenspoint businesses were open 24 hours. During the special weekend to cater to the NFC team and other Super Bowl guests.

Original Greek Festival

Orchestrated the marketing & PR efforts for the festival, resulting in a series of record-breaking years of attendance & revenue.

Space Center Houston Dig It

Visitors to Space Center Houston”s Dig It exhibit explored “Prehistoric Worlds” presented by the Discovery Channel – an engaging attraction for visitors of all ages. Noisemaker Communications orchestrated the Mammoth”s “kissing cousin” appearance to greet the media and visitors.

Space Center Houston’s “Robotics” Exhibit

Media Event held to showcase Space Center Houston’s exhibit titled “Robotics”, which featured high-tech, stationary and mobile robots performing a variety of challenges. Noisemaker Communications produced this event with former Rockets guard and NBA legend Calvin Murphy to face off against the robotic arm in a free-throw shooting competition for charity.

Faust Cow “Drink Responsibly. Get the Moo-sage?”

Local Miller/Coors Beer distributor Faust Distributing purchased their own cow as part of the Houston Cow Parade raising funds for local charities. Noisemaker Communications worked with local artists to produce a responsibility awareness message in a unique and humorous display of custom Texas license plates.

Braeswood Homes

A showcase of newly built homes in the Braeswood area recently recovering from the effects of Tropical Storm Allison. Noisemaker Communications coordinated all the media activities surrounding this event.

Draddy Infusion

Noisemaker Communications creates market noise for best-selling books by securing radio station promotional partners to give the books away as station prizes. Through a strategic alliance with Draddy Infusion, Noisemaker earned Simon Cowell’s “I Don’t Mean to be Rude….But” and Dr. Spencer Johnson’s “The Present” added value media mentions on top performing radio stations across the country.

Sun Pontiac

Noisemaker Communications produced several traffic-generating client events for this Pontiac GMC dealership in Mesa, Arizona.

Tom Joyner Show

Created & coordinated cooperative on air contesting on radio & TV stations in 48 US markets in support of the show and facilitated the travel for over 200 contest  winners to tapings of the TV show in Los Angeles.

Conducted street marketing efforts in support of a Nike gift with purchase program targeting Hispanic soccer fans.

East-West Shrine Game

Directed the marketing efforts of the 84th Annual East-West Shrine Game that doubled the game’s attendance.

Rocbar

Created a viral marketing campaign for the grand opening of rocbar which resulted in over 600,000 viewings on YouTube and a packed house for opening week.

Houston Aeros

Used Larry Hagman to sell hockey tickets and Beethoven to sell chicken-fried steaks.

Trendmaker Homes

Noisemaker Communications partnered with Dillard Local Branding to produce several traffic-generating client events for this west Houston home builder development.

The Grand Lakes Hole-In-One Contest – Registered interested home buyers to be one of one hundred golfers swinging for the chance to win a brand new Grand Lakes Home.

Grand Lakes Win-A-Million Dollars Contest – registered potential home buyers to be one of one hundred selected to attend a catered dinner party for the chance to win $1,000,000.

Gallery Furniture Boot Camp

During the Westside Tennis Center’s Men’s Clay Court Championship, Gallery Furniture staged their own rendition of the popular reality survival show “Boot Camp.” Noisemaker Communications executed all the contestant selection, radio station partners,and judging of the competitors earning extensive local television coverage.

Ricky Williams Foundation

During Super Bowl XXXVIII, Noisemaker Communications was selected to produce several events for the Ricky Williams Foundation.

• Ricky Williams Texas Jam – The week of events kicked off with the Ricky Williams Texas Jam, a VIP party produced by Noisemaker Communications. Sports fans mixed it up with Ricky and his celebrity guests at Champp’s Americana as ESPN and other news outlets covered the event.

• NikeGO Student Press Conference – NIKE and Ricky Williams announced their partnership to prevent childhood obesity at this press event coordinated by Noisemaker Communications. Student journalists from around Houston gathered for this unique Super Bowl experience. Their published stories were submitted for prizes provided by Nike.

• Pop Warner Game – Heisman Trophy winner Ricky Williams returned to Texas for the Pop Warner Future Bowl. Ricky and his team of Texas All Stars matched up against musician and film star Snoop Dogg and his West Coast All-Stars for the ultimate Pop Warner Championship. In association with San Diego Stage and Lighting, Renie Colwell, Noisemaker Communications was chosen to handle all media relations.

Susan Roberson Wade Foundation

Noisemaker Communications assists Susan’s Rally, a Houston-wide mobile scavenger hunt raising funds for breast cancer, by creating awareness with the local media and public relations. The Rally, now it its tenth year, has raised nearly $1 million dollars for the first against breast cancer.

Sun Pontiac

Noisemaker Communications produced several traffic-generating client events for this Pontiac GMC dealership in Mesa, Arizona.

• Operation Desert Tunes – Noisemaker Communications produced “Operation Desert Tunes”, a CD and battery collection drive for the U.S. troops overseas, gaining local media coverage and thousands of CDs donated.

• WWE Superstar Rob Van Dam at Sun Pontiac GMC (photo) – Noisemaker Communications produced this personal appearance of WWE Wrestling Superstar Rob Van Dam, which drew over 800 Phoenix area fans to the dealership.

American InterContinental University

For the grand opening of American InterContinental University’s new Houston campus, Noisemaker Communications produced a Cocktail reception, ribbon cutting, and a special “Millennium Graduation Gown” unveiling. Noisemaker Communications also handled AIU’s media campaign including radio production and media buying.
